I collaborated with Lost Lust Supply for the August installment of their 2016 Artist Series, creating an original design for the collection. The project brought my illustration style into a limited-edition product collaboration and gave me the opportunity to translate my artwork into a small-scale, collectible format.

After Gregory Alan Isakov saw a camper van pin I had designed, he reached out about creating a custom version inspired by his beloved 1987 Volkswagen Westfalia, Squeaky. The van had traveled with him across the country through tours, adventures, songwriting, and photography, making it a particularly personal subject to translate into an enamel pin.

I adapted the original illustration to capture the character of Squeaky, giving the design its own details and color palette while maintaining the simplicity of the original pin. The finished piece, affectionately named “Squeaky Jr.,” became a small, wearable tribute to the van and the many miles behind it.
